YOUTH BJJ

Should your children learn BJJ?

YES! Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is not only a great way to make sure your children know how to defend themselves but a great way to learn the values of respect, self-discipline, and friendship. Here at Ricardo Cavalcanti BJJ, it is our goal to facilitate and instill these values into all students that attend. It is a great opportunity to learn real-world skills like communication, coordination, socialization, and teamwork. BJJ can also bolster confidence in children and give them the skills and values it takes to be a successful adult.

Professor Santiago is great with kids, he understands how to make class engaging, fun, and easy to understand. It is a rewarding experience to watch a child enjoy and progress in the sport whilst growing and learning. Jiu-Jitsu is great for kids because in today’s modern digital age, physical and mental health has never been more important. Starting young sets your child on the path for a healthy lifestyle. BJJ not only builds strength but agility, endurance, and flexibility as well as being FUN!

In a perfect world, we would never have to worry about the safety of our children but unfortunately, that is not reality. Statistically today, one in five children will experience some form of bullying and that number of kids has increased by 35% since 2016. BJJ does not encourage fighting but if the situation arises it is important to know the proper techniques to be able to defend yourself. Here at Ricardo Cavalcanti BJJ we teach kids that violence is never the answer and should always be the very last result, but should the situation occur you can have the confidence and peace of mind that your child will be able to defend themselves.

Sign up your kids today and just watch the positive influence BJJ can have!
